Financial Literacy one day workshops will introduce students to personal finance and take a deeper dive into saving and spending. The specific topics to be covered are as follows:

• Money tools
• The many emotions of money
• Saving for later years (retirement)
• Compound interest in your favor
• Saving for emergency funds
• Saving for large purchases
• Spending: necessities vs. luxuries
• Personal cash flow statements
• The psychology of spending
• Debt (good vs. bad)
• The credit card trap
• Compound interest working against you
• Tips & tricks for saving and spending
