One:One coding classes offer flexible schedules for students to work with a dedicated instructor. Class times are decided after the registration. Students pick a day of week and time of day that works best for the classes and connect with instructors in live online classes once every week. Each class is 55 minutes long. Students purchase a set of 4 classes to begin with and purchase more classes as needed.


Exploring AI: AI is a part of our lives today and is increasingly becoming more pervasive. This course unravels the mystery behind AI. Students engage in hands-on learning, training models for speech recognition, machine learning and computer vision and develop interactive programs using these models. Prerequisites: Prior experience with Scratch programming is required to participate in this course. A laptop or Chromebook with internet connectivity is required to participate in this course.

Introduction to Java Programming: This course introduces students to the fundamentals of Java programming via a fun, graphics, animation, and game-based engaging curriculum. Students learn the fundamental programming concepts including variables, user inputs/output, conditionals, loops, functions, events and single dimensional array, and develop a course-end project to showcase their learnings. No prior coding experience is required to participate in this course. A laptop or Chromebook with internet connectivity is required to participate in this course.

One:One Scratch Junior Programming: This course introduces students to block-based programming and provides a fun way for young students to learn programming fundamentals as they explore and develop imaginative stories and animations using the Scratch Junior programming environment. Students learn the concepts of motion, looks, sound, loops, events and more as they develop computational thinking and understanding of sequencing, pattern recognition and parallelism. No prior coding experience is required to participate in this course. A tablet with the Scratch Junior app installed is required to participate in this course. The Scratch Junior app can be installed following the app/play store links at https://www.scratchjr.org.

One: One Scratch Programming: This course introduces students to block-based programming and provides a fun way for young students to start thinking like a programmer as they explore and develop imaginative stories, animations and games using the Scratch programming environment. Students learn the concepts of motion, looks, sound, events, loops, conditionals, game mechanics, operators and variables as they develop computational thinking and understanding of sequencing, pattern recognition, abstraction and parallelism. No prior coding experience is required to participate in this course. A laptop or Chromebook with internet connectivity is required to participate in this course.

One:One Web Development: The internet is a fixture of modern society and accessing it is one of the main uses of our computers and phones. In this course we will explore how websites are made with HTML and CSS. Students will learn about HTML tags and styling of content using CSS to design a well formatted website with organized content and create their own website to display on the internet. No prior coding experience is required to participate in this course. A laptop or Chromebook with internet connectivity is required to participate in this course.

One:One Introduction to Javascript Programming: This course introduces students to the fundamentals of browser-based application development via a fun, graphics and animation and game-based engaging curriculum. Students learn the fundamental programming concepts including variables, conditionals, loops, functions, user inputs, events and lists, and develop a range of applications and a course-end project to showcase their learnings. The programming concepts learned in this course are transferable to any other programming language. No prior coding experience is required to participate in this course. A laptop or Chromebook with internet connectivity is required to participate in this course.

One:One Introduction to Python Programming: This course introduces students to the fundamentals of syntax-based programming via a fun, graphics, animation, and game-based engaging curriculum. Students learn the fundamental programming concepts including variables, user inputs/output, conditionals, loops, functions, events and lists, and develop a course-end project to showcase their learnings. This course builds the foundation for the Intermediate Python course. No prior coding experience is required to participate in this course. A laptop or Chromebook with internet connectivity is required to participate in this course.

Students engage in solving a variety of real world problems, and build a course-end project to showcase their learnings. Prerequisite: Students need the understanding of programming concepts taught in the introduction to Python programming course. A laptop or Chromebook with internet connectivity is required to participate in this course.

One:One Intermediate Java Programming: This course lays the foundation of object oriented programming (OOP), data structures, file and error handling. 2D arrays. Students engage in solving a variety of real world problems, and build a course-end project to showcase their learnings. Prerequisites: Students need the understanding of programming concepts taught in the introduction to Java programming course. A laptop or Chromebook with internet connectivity is required to participate in this course.

One:One C++ Programming: This course introduces students to the fundamentals of programming while highlighting the key features of C++ programming language. Students learn the fundamental programming concepts including variables, user inputs/output, conditionals, loops, functions, events and arrays while developing fun activities to reinforce the concepts. Students develop a course-end project to showcase their learnings. Throughout the course, students appreciate the differences between C++ and other programming

languages, such as Python. No prior coding experience is required to participate in this course. A laptop or Chromebook with internet connectivity is required to participate in this course.

One:One Unity Video Game Development: This course is for students who dream of video game development. Students learn programming in C# and let their imagination loose to develop creative video games by programming their own characters, scenes, rules of the game. Prerequisites: Prior experience with coding is helpful but not required. A laptop with internet connectivity is required to participate in this course.

One:One AP Computer Science A : This course follows the AP CS A course outline to prepare students for the AP CS exam. The modules reinforce AP CS requirements via assessment, including practice activities and quiz, and offering homework help and tutoring to clarify concepts. Prerequisites: Currently enrolled in AP CS course at a participating school. A laptop or Chromebook with internet connectivity is required to participate in this course.

1:1 Tutoring: This program is ideal for students who are working on or interested in working on a project to accomplish a self-defined goal. Learn2Code.Live instructors mentor students and guide them through the project development process, and will introduce multiple different programming languages and platforms as needed to accomplish the project goals.
