American Sign Language: This course is an introduction to American Sign Language. It creates a visual-gestural environment that introduces ASL grammar and vocabulary without presenting English equivalents. This course includes interactive activities, cultural awareness education, and individual feedback.

Public Speaking: In your life, no matter your occupation, at some point you will be asked to deliver a presentation. In order for you to be an effective speaker, your communication, verbal, nonverbal, and written must be consistent. Students will demonstrate an understanding and application of the techniques used in formal public speaking including listening skills, speech preparation and research methods.

Study Skills & Time Management Techniques: This course will teach students how to prioritize tasks, get better grades and reduce stress, avoid procrastination by setting a schedule that works and how to set goals.

Painting & Drawing: This class will have tons of interaction between teacher and student as well as between student to student. We focus on making sure the students are actively creating art through the entirety of the class with instructions and the lesson interspersed throughout the class. Each week we begin and finish a new project. Students will need to provide their own scissors (any size), glue (any glue), acrylic paintbrush and #2 pencil. Parents are strongly encouraged not to purchase supplies until after the first class has taken place as classes are subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment is not met. Students/parents will not be reimbursed for any supplies purchased for use in this class even if the class is cancelled.
