Zoology, Space, and Slime fun STEM classes!

Zoology: Learn all about amazing animals and wildlife conservation in Zoology! We will study endangered species and what we can do to protect their habitats. Use our super cool digital microscopes to get up close and personal with insects, feathers, scales, and more. From the orangutans in jungles of Borneo to the arctic polar bears, we will learn all about incredible animal species while doing fun, hands-on science and building projects! Space Explorers: Join the NERD Astronaut Training Program! In this class learn about our solar system: what’s in it, how it formed, and how we are exploring it! We will experiment with the forces that shape our universe, launch rockets, make a comet, and touch real meteorites as we explore and discover space. Secrets of Slime: We know. Slime is all the rage. But do you know how it works and why? Learn all about states of matter, polymers, and linking molecule chains while making different types of slime! Experiment with your slime by changing variables to get different results! Will your slime be fluffy or floamy or stretchy or even…tasty? Nerds will make and take home a new type of slime each class.
