Early entrance screenings measure a child’s social and academic ability, predicting their success in kindergarten.
Please select the grade level your child will be entering for the 24-25 School Year. This class is for incoming sixth grade students who have played an instrument for at least one year in 5th grade strings and are switching to another instrument for 6th grade strings. It will focus on learning the new instrument, improving all instrument skills, and expanding the performance quality in both solo and ensemble settings. Daily practice is required. A concert is held on the last day of class. Students are responsible for providing an instrument. Instruments can be rented from any local music store. Instruments allowed are: violin, viola, cello, and bass.
