The VIK Club program has moved to a monthly invoice/billing system. When monthly charges have been invoiced according to the selected schedule for a student, a copy of the invoice is sent via email indicating the invoice due date. A $25.00 late fee will be assessed if payment is not submitted by the due date with subsequent $25.00 late fee charges assessed until the balance is paid in full. If a student does not need to start attending the VIK Club program immediately, please ensure a start date is selected to avoid being invoiced prior to student attendance.

The VIK Club program is designed to support the needs of today's working families. The VIK club is a safe, fun-filled extended learning program available to Gilbert Public School families, for GPS students Kindergarten through 6th Grade. The VIK Club is proud to offer various student activities and opportunities that reinforce the educational programming of Gilbert Public Schools and encourage a student’s personal growth by cultivating life skills, strong relationships, and a sense of self-worth.
The VIK Club program is offered at twenty six of the Gilbert Public Schools Elementary Schools. Regular Hours of Operation are 6:30AM - 8:10AM for the Before School program and 2:55PM - 6:00PM for the After School program.
The VIK Before School program includes breakfast and a free choice of various fun, and educational activities. Students from Kindergarten-6th grades are released 10-15 minutes before the start of the school day. Kindergarten students are either walked to, or picked up and escorted to the playground by the VIK site staff or a school teacher.
The VIK After School program includes an afternoon snack, quiet time for homework, outdoor activities, active games, S.T.E.A.M activities, and a free choice of various activities such as board games, free drawing, and quiet area. Registration Fee: A $50.00 (Non-Refundable) registration fee is charged once a contract is approved. Early Registration fees are as follows:
Consistent Schedule: A consistent schedule needs to be maintained for the entire school year. If your child will be attending the same days/sessions each week (1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 days) for the entire month.
Pick Your Week Schedule: Attending the same session Monday-Friday but not every week. You must schedule each month before the invoice goes out for the M-F weeks needed by selecting "Change Schedule" on your child's VIK Contract.
Pick Your Day Schedule: Attending different days/sessions during each month. You must schedule each month before the invoice goes out for the dates/session needed by selecting "Change Schedule" on your child's VIK Contract. Per the policy of the program, at least 1 day must be selected and paid.
Due to keypad entries at all sites starting in the 2024-2025 School Year, Drop-in Days will no longer be allowed. Schedules will need to be submitted by the 24th of the month for the following month before the monthly invoice is processed. VIK Club accounts will be invoiced on the 25th of the month for the following month with payment being due on the 1st of the month. No schedule changes will be accepted after the account has been invoiced. No exceptions! For Schedule Change instructions, click here.
Half Days - In Eleyo as a Non-School Day - An additional $7.95 charge is added to the PM cost on these days and will have to be selected separately in your Eleyo account under a Non-School Day, if needed. Half Days (students are released at 11:55 am) for the 2024-2025 School Year are 8/28/24, 9/19/24 & 9/20/24 (Parent Teacher Conferences), 9/27/24, 10/23/24, 12/20/24, 1/15/25, 2/26/25 & 3/7/25. These dates will be invoiced during the month in which they occur.
Accounts are invoiced monthly for the schedule selected for their child/children and due on the 1st of the month or on the due date noted on the invoice. Parents are required to save and keep an AutoPay method in their family account per the policy of the program.
