Testing to determine eligibility for the Gifted K-Prep cluster programming at Gilbert Public Schools for 4-year-olds is offered throughout the year by appointment only.
Early entrance screenings measure a child’s social and academic ability, predicting their success in kindergarten.
This Course is specially designed for students entering Kindergarten in the 2024-2025 School Year and will follow the district summer school schedule of 8:30-11:30 am. Our teachers will design engaging, hands on, and interactive lessons for your child to participate in each day. Children will follow a preschool routine, which will include: Circle time activities, small group rotations (for math, literacy and writing), science and STEM lessons, social interactions, and gross and fine motor activities. Each three hour class can have up to 20 students, with one teacher and one instructional asst. . Children must be independently toilet trained.
