Gilbert Public Schools

Please select the grade level your child will be entering for the 25-26 School Year.  

This class is for incoming sixth-grade students who have played an instrument for at least one year in 5th-grade strings and are switching to another instrument for 6th-grade strings. It will focus on learning the new instrument, improving all instrument skills, and expanding the performance quality in solo and ensemble settings. Daily practice is required. A concert is held on the last day of class. Students are responsible for providing an instrument. Instruments can be rented from any local music store. Instruments allowed: violin, viola, cello, and bass.
