Students will take the lead in deciding which creative elements to include in their projects — such as special effects, music choices, and more — allowing them to shape their films with their own artistic vision. This course offers a fun, collaborative introduction to the filmmaking process. Create Their Own Stories – Learn how to develop a compelling storyline using the classic three-act structure. Master the Camera – Discover how to frame, shoot, and visually enhance their story through smart camera techniques. Build Confidence on Camera – Practice acting, delivering dialogue, and expressing emotions to bring scenes to life. Take the Director’s Chair – Experience what it’s like to lead a scene, manage pacing, and bring creative ideas to the screen. Learn the Power of Editing – Explore how editing shapes the final film. No prior experience needed—just imagination and enthusiasm!

Draw Cartoons: Character Creation Workshop - Learn the basics of cartooning and create your own characters! Each day students will learn techniques used in cartooning. Subjects like characteristics, features, exaggeration, action, and personification will contribute to your child’s artistic advancement! Young Rembrandts students will immediately apply their new skills in every class to create their own original cartoon characters. All supplies provided. Pirate Workshop - Ahoy mates! Join us as we explore the world of pirates with new drawing adventures! Pirates, treasure maps, sunken treasures, parrots, a grand pirate ship and more will inspire us as we draw, using cartoon and realistic drawing techniques. Kids love drawing our playful, expressive characters and will complete several drawings each day using the unique Young Rembrandts drawing method. They will show you all they have learned over the week when they complete one large scene on the final day. Get ready for pirate fun! All supplies provided.
