Gilbert Public Schools

Please select the grade level your child will be entering for the 25/26 School Year. 

This class is for string students who have played their instrument for at least one year. Students who just finished 5th or 6th grade and will be incoming 6th or 7th-grade students may participate. Students will learn the skills needed to perform music on their instrument in a solo or ensemble setting with an emphasis on fiddle tunes from around the world. Daily practice is required. A concert is held on the last day of class. Students are responsible for providing an instrument. Instruments can be rented from any local music store. Instruments allowed: violin, viola, cello, and bass.
