Family Camping Event! Location: Usery Mountain Regional Park Dates: October 10th & 11th Check-In: 4:00 PM; October 10th Check Out: 11:00AM; October 11th Join us for an unforgettable family adventure under the stars at beautiful Usery Mountain Regional Park! Our GPS Enrichment Family Camping Event is all about quality time in nature, hands-on learning, and good old-fashioned outdoor fun. Takes place rain or shine! Come prepared for inclement weather. Additionally, Usery Pass tends to have hard soil which can make driving tent stakes challenging. To help you prepare please read this Quick Tip Sheet. PLEASE NOTE: Tents are not provided! Event Highlights: Check-In & Camp Setup – Arrive at 4:00 PM to set up your campsite and get settled in. Please note TENTS ARE NOT PROVIDED, and campgrounds do permit for truck bed tents as we will be able to park on the actual campgrounds) Archery Lesson – Head over to the archery range for a fun and safe lesson led by experienced instructors. Archery equipment provided, campers can also bring their own equipment. Dinner at Camp – Return to the campground for a cookout with burgers, hot dogs, and everyone's favorite: s’mores by the campfire (Pending No Burn Notice; otherwise grill will be used)! Games & Activities – Enjoy family-friendly games like cornhole, jumbo Jenga, and more. Camp Under the Stars – Sleep under the desert sky and soak in the peaceful sounds of nature. Morning Breakfast & Hike – Start your morning with breakfast, then choose your own adventure with a hike to Wind Cave or an easy scenic trail. This is the perfect chance to unplug, bond as a family, and experience the beauty of the great outdoors together. Spots are limited, so register soon!
